how can i stop being like this? i want to be tough and not care! people walk all over me and treat me like shit. should i go to a tony robbins seminar or what?

Confidence, confidence, confidence. Decide for yourself who you want to be. You can’t live your life trying to please every Tom, Dick, and Jane who comes along. Your life is your own. At the end of the day, once you become both familiar and confident with the person YOU want to be, you can begin to become that person. Look yourself in the mirror each morning and tell yourself three good things about yourself. Remember that you can’t change who you are for other people, even if you want to. Over time, the confidence will come easier and easier, and you will find that other people will not matter so much. The only people whose opinions matter are the people whom you love; and these people will not try to change you, anyway. Surround yourself with these people. Take comfort and seek solace in their support and love. And watch as your confidence becomes the shield you’re looking for. People don’t disrespect a confident person. If they smell weakness and insecurity, they will feed off of that and try to deepen it. But they won’t hate on you if they see you comfortable and strong and firm in who you are.

The Special Needs High School that I work at are raising funds to buy a new mini bus.

We are coming up with different charity/sponsor ideas and want them to be abit odd or out of the ordinary (i.e. no walks or runs etc.)

My local pub used to do a sponsored firewalk ever year. This is where someone comes and teaches participants how to walk over hot coals, the participants then do it and collect in the sponsor money they had raised afterwards.

However the manager of the pub has left and no one has any contact details for the company that done the firewalk.

So does anyone know of the company (or a company) in Glasgow or Central/West Scotland that do these things?
