   It helps you face your fears. It actually doesn’t burn you if you walk. Because if you run you put more pressure down on the coals. Also coals insulate the heat so it takes longer for the heat to get to your feet. Also ash is a poor conductor of heat and that helps. It only warms your feet or maybe a few blisters.

   I thank you for you input on what you thought of my thoughts lol. I am prod of what they have dun. Doing somthing such as that and not flinching after the thought of fire is somthing I could not do. Still maby I will face my fers of fire some day till then I am content with reding Fire and Ice by robbert Frost, I highly recomend that poem. If you ever get this I send my condolisis to all the people that face there fers like that CONGRATS MY HAT IS OFF TO ALL OF YOU.

   Thank you for your comments. Some of the other comments missed the point of what we were trying to do. We just wanted to overcome our fears to demonstrate that many of the fears we have are invalid and hold us back from doing what we want. This was my second walk. This was the first walk for the others. I listened to them talk all night long after the walk telling me how conquering this challenge made other (less scary) challenges not seem so great.
