I think compassion and caring for others is the best medicine to heal a hurt soul. You have no idea how good you feel when you do even one good deed each day. The selflessness of the act has a spirit that transcends ordinary life and works to make you feel elevated and good.

Every winter I shovel my neighbours walk as he has health problems and really can not do this himself. He’s never asked for help, I just know his situation an enjoy lending a helping hand.

This is absolutely true. If our hands and legs are working we can do anything for living but what about those who are helpless, I think a real human being is the one who help others but not the one who does for himself. Even animals live for themselves, then what is the difference between the animals and us??

I have been a part of the mission, once when we went to the remote villages where the innocent poor people were fooled by the missionaries to convert their religion, they use to give them food and money and use to make them against their own religion. We provided them clothes, food and awakened them regarding the importance and greatness of our religion.
